Rev. Paul Hunchak, Rector
Fr. Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 5, 1964. He grew up attending St. Nicholas Church (1964-
1987). The rector at the time was Fr. Vladimir Borichevsky, who later became the Dean of Faculty of St. Tikhon’s Seminary. Fr. Paul graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (1987) from GMI Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University in Flint, MI)., followed by a Master of Divinity from St. Vladimir’s Seminary (1990). He began working at General Motors while at GMI (1982-1987), then served as Assistant to the Chancellor of the OCA (1990-2000), where he worked closely with Fr. Leonid. In 2000 he became Manager of Corporate Giving at MetLife, followed by Director of Visitor Services, Programs, and Exhibits (2001) at Old Westbury Gardens, where he remains today.
